#1 - Nike brings a unique WebAR experience to 11 stores around the world. I love (almost) everything that Nike do and this is no exception. Their retail experience is already second to none but the innovative nature of their business makes this an obvious step. A great way to build further brand equity too, by showcasing brand legacy in a modern way. Be sure to checkout the video in the link…
#2 - Coach augmented reality shop front celebrates their NFT partnership with Shxpir. NFT partnership aside, which is worth a look, following the Nike example above, it’s cool to see how different brands are activating AR at retail. I’m not a Coach customer but I would stop and try this out if I passed by on the street. I may even have a different perception of their brand, as a result of the experience. Very cool.

#3 - Robot recreates human facial expressions in real time… Imagine the possibilities…
#4 - Louis Vuitton x Lego collaboration. Ok, so not really, although they did partner last year. This is an example of how AI (DALL·E) created art is being applied to the fashion industry by random creatives. I wonder how long it will take LV to jump on this and actually bring it to life… If R2-D2 inspired sneakers are your thing, be sure to check this out too.
#5 - How good is this ad campaign from Stabilo (yes the highlighter)… Genius! I never really think of stationery as having much of a need for brand building. Clearly I’m wrong. If I ever thought twice about which highlighter to buy in future, Stabilo would be my #1…
#6 - Hyper personalized influencer merchandise pack from Netflix for Gray Man. Well played! Though I think they missed a trick with making this into a bigger campaign with multiple extensions e.g. opp for fans to win a personalised figurine etc.
#7 - Few brands have the scale of branding recall that McDonald’s does. That’s why this OOH campaign works so well for them…
#8 - Another great in-game brand activation, this time by Doritos in Fortnite. Introducing Doritos Triangle Island… Few games offer their level of customization that Fortnite does, which is why they are so appealing to partner with, aside from the massive audience.
The quirky, piano, alternative, poptastic sounds of Regina Spektor make it onto the Cool Sh*t Spotify playlist this week…
